Kostromina was a two-time All-American making the final heat in the 200 Butterfly as well as the 400 Medley Relay team. She placed fourth nationally in both events. At the Sunshine State Conference Championships, Kostromina was a seven-time SSC finalist with four individual events and three relays. Her best individual finish came in the 200 Butterfly where she placed second (2:00.22), and her best relay finish came in the 400 Medley Relay where the team placed third. Kostromina swam the butterfly leg in 55.01.

Daughter of Olga Kostromina... has one brother, Denys... says that breaking two minutes in the 200 fly at the ECAC is her most memorable athletic achievement... is pursuing her MBA... likes the team energy and campus the most about NSU... names her brother as the most influential person in her life.
