Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2020)
Started 11-of-11 games in right field for the Sharks before an injury cut his season short...Batted .216 with one home run and six walks in the short campaign...Collected his fourth career home run with a two-run, fifth-inning shot during the 14-inning marathon tilt at Palm Beach Atlantic (2/18)...Named to the Spring SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019)
Named to the All-Sunshine State Conference second team for his first postseason conference honors...Starting 32 out of 42 games played in the outfield, Diaz posted the Sharks' third-best betting average at .348…His best game of the season came at Eckerd (4/20) when he went 5-for-5 at the plate, recording a career-best six RBI off two singles, two doubles and a home run…Tied for fourth on the team with 11 multiple-hit games and was one of just two Sharks to have five or more hits in a game…Ended the season on a six game hitting streak, batting .300 in the NCAA South Regional at Tampa…Went 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts…Was fifth on the team with a .414 on-base percentage...ranked second among outfielders with a .988 fielding percentage, making only a single error on the season while collecting 79 putouts to rank second...Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018)
Made 31 appearances with 20 starts in his inaugural season for the Sharks…Had a career and season high day with two hits, a homer, three runs scored and four RBI against Catawba (2/4)…Notched at least two RBI in three separate occasions: Tusculum (2/2), Catawba (2/4) and Embry-Riddle (2/24)…Collected four multi-hit games…Posted a .208 batting average with 18 runs scored, to go along with a home run, 12 RBI, 10 walks, 3 stolen bases and two triples.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played baseball for Thomas Duffin at Monsignor Edward Pace High School…Batted.400 with a .534 on base percentage while hitting three home runs to go along with 20 RBI’s and 34 runs scored…Named a Second Team All-County outfielder.

Played for Carlos Marti and the Florida Legends...Hit .447 with four homers, 27 RBI's, 23 runs scored and 15 stolen bases.
