AS A SENIOR (2019)
Started 47 games for the Sharks, largely in left field...Recorded the second-highest batting average on the 2019 squad at .353, also delivering an on-base percentage of .416 - the fourth best for the Sharks…His slugging percentage of .576 was the third-highest on the team and the fifth-highest in the SSC rankings…Second on the team with nine home runs…Recorded 50 RBI off 60 hits, ranking second on the team in both statistics…His 50 RBI was good for seventh in the SSC and 99th for all of NCAA DII…Logged 16 multi-hit games, 15 multi-RBI games and ended the season on a 25-game reach base streak, second for the Sharks in each of these statistics…Recorded his best game against Barry, smashing the Bucs with a 4-for-4 appearance, hitting two home runs, scoring three times and driving in five RBI (2/9)…Also made four appearances pitching for the Sharks…Recorded four strikeouts in 3.0 IP while limiting opposing batters to a .182 batting average…Went 7-for-18 at the NCAA South Regional, batting in nine runs and scoring three times - Batted 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, three RBI and a run to lead NSU past Spring Hill to reach the Regional Semifinal...Was also a star in the classroom, earning a spot on  the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll, and was also earned a CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District First Team distinction...Named to the D2CCA All-South Region Second Team...Was named a South Region Player to Watch in Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's preseason rankings.

AS A JUNIOR (2018)
Demby had a solid first year with the Sharks posting a .302 batting average, while starting 26 of 32 games played in the outfield…Notched first career homerun at NSU against Palm Beach Atlantic (3/25)…Recorded a three-hit game four separate times: Catawba (2/1), So. New Hampshire (3/13), Palm Beach Atlantic (3/25) and Florida Southern (4/29)…Had a career and season high three RBI vs Lynn (4/15)…Scored a season high three runs while playing Catawba (2/4)…For the season, hit three homers, collected 23 RBI, 10 walks, seven doubles, and was hit by six pitches…Also made three appearances on the mound for the Sharks, posting 5.0 innings pitched.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL (NORTH CAROLINA STATE)

Saw action in seven games as a pitcher at NC State, making one start with nine strikeouts over 8.2 innings pitched in 2016.

HIGH SCHOOL
Went 5-0 with a 0.97 ERA in 12 appearances as a senior in 2015, allowing only 13 hits and walking 16 while striking out 51 over 36 innings, leading Archbishop McCarthy to the Florida 5-A State Championship...Was the starting and winning pitcher in the State Championship Game, allowing four hits with five punchouts in six shutout innings...Also led McCarthy in batting with a .431 average including four doubles, six homers and 31 RBIs...Compiled a .545 on-base percentag and .810 slugging perentage.
