Biography
AS A SENIOR* (2020)
The Sharks produced a 13-1 record and achieved a program-best No. 3 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national ranking in spite of the season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic, and Lowrey was right in the thick of what was expected to be her final season – with eight matches played … Partnering primarily with Ivana Djordjevic at No. 3 doubles (but also Sarah Wardenburg and Tingting Pei), she logged a 5-2 doubles record, highlighted by a 6-2 win over No. 24 Wayne State’s Sabrina Laynes and Irena van Meer (3/7) … On the singles side, she was a perfect 3-0, including conference wins over Palm Beach Atlantic (2/19) and at Eckerd (2/21) … Named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Played in 25 matches as a doubles mainstay with the Sharks, aiding NSU to its best season since 2007 on a 22-5 record and final No. 6 ranking, helping the Sharks to open the season on a 14-match win streak with 13 NSU sweeps on the year … Went 14-10 (5-4 SSC) on the doubles courts, largely at No. 3 but playing all three flights with either Chantal Nosievici or Diane Follin-Arbelet … Earned doubles victories over ranked teams against No. 25 Flagler (2/3), No. 25 Georgia College (2/10), No. 36 Sonoma State (2/21), No. 24 Rollins (2/24) and No. 25 Wayne State (3/11) … Registered a 5-2 (2-1 SSC) singles record at sixth and fifth flights, highlighted by a 6-3, 6-0 win over No. 25 Wayne State’s Carla Jewell and a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 25 Flagler over Paloma Martinez – in addition to SSC wins at Tampa (3/25) and Eckerd (4/14) … Saw an unfinished result (5-0) just shy of clinching doubles with Daniela Obando in the Sharks’ NCAA Regional victory over Clark Atlanta (5/13) – the first NSU NCAA postseason victory since 2009 … Named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
Saw improvement in singles as a sophomore, going 10-10 with a 16-7 doubles mark with Ana Navas at No. 2 … Notched four singles wins against ranked teams, including a 6-2, 6-0 win over Div. I transfer, Judith Bohnenkamp of No. 1 Barry … Established a six-match winning streak while winning eight of nine with Navas at No. 2 doubles … Recorded seven wins against nationally-ranked teams including Valeria Mantilla and Ines Nicault of No. 5 West Florida, 8-4.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
Emerged as one of the top doubles players in the conference as a freshman posting a 13-4 record with a 7-2 mark against the SSC in No. 1 doubles with Luicelena Perez … Named second-team All-SSC in doubles while earning a top-ten national ranking with Perez … Picked up her first win in singles at No. 5 against Eckerd (4/7).
HIGH SCHOOL
Played four years of varsity tennis for Coach Steven Browne at The Sagemont School … Four-time District Champion and two-time FSHAA State Qualifier … First team All-County in doubles and two-time MVP for her team.
