Sims, was named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team...At the PBC Championships, she competed in the 1,500-meter run where she placed 11th with a time of 5:08.12...She was sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.26.

Attended Bishop McNamara catholic HS…Ran cross country and track all four years, along with basketball for three…Was an state champion, captain, and MVP…During career was a three time All-Stater.
