Dave Corkum joined the NSU volleyball staff prior to the 2015 season and brings a lifetime of experience to the NSU volleyball program.
After serving 3 years in the US Army, Corkum graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Maryland in 1980. He recently retired from IBM after 35 years as an accountant, IT systems analyst and financial systems consultant. He is now enjoying life in South Florida after working and raising a family in Connecticut.
Corkum's volleyball experience includes playing in several different USVBA regions and participating in the Senior Nationals in 2005. His passion for the sport and IT experience will be put to use to further the Sharks’ use of statistics, break down film, and expand their use of new and exciting technology.
Corkum and his wife of 40 years, Karen, currently reside in Plantation.
