Was a four-year letterman in baseball at Pembroke Pines Charter in Pembroke Pines, Florida under coach Carlos Iglesias...Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel First Team All-Broward County…7A District Player and Pitcher...Received the Gold Cord award...Played summer ball in for the Staunton Braves and Anchorage Bucs… Ended career as program’s all-time strikeout leader (171) and wins leader (12) at Pines Charter…Set school record for strikeouts in season (114) during senior year…Finished final season with 7-3 record and 2.00 ERA…Went 5-3 with 2.40 ERA and 51 strikeouts as junior…Helped lead team to region semifinals in 2015 and 2016…Batted .404 with 15 RBI.
