Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic protocols implemented by the Sunshine State Conference… named to the 2020 Fall SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Saw action in 16 matches during her junior year… collected 10 digs and tallied two aces, both of which came in a straight-set win over Florida Tech (Oct. 25)… picked up a season-high three digs against Shaw on Sept. 6… was named the Unsung Hero for the volleyball team, which is a student-athlete who has been identified as an impactful leader on their respective teams.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
Started eight matches of her 25 played as a sophomore… picked up 96 digs over the season, averaging 1.55 per set… recorded six service aces and five assists… tallied a season-high 11 digs against Lee on Oct. 19.

AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
Played 20 matches, starting each one, scoring 34 points with eight kills and 11 assists… was third on the team in service aces with 25… recorded a season-high three kills against Mississippi College (10/14)... notched a season-best five service aces against Lynn (10/31) and registered 16 digs against the University of Montevallo (10/14).

HIGH SCHOOL
Six-year member of the Our Lady of Mercy volleyball program, and four-year member of lacrosse program… as a senior on the volleyball team, she was awarded the title of Best Defender and was also a scholar athlete.
 
PERSONAL
Born in Rochester, N.Y…. daughter of Darrin and Zina Nelson… has one brother, Ryan… plans to major in computer information technology… says her father is the most influential person in her like because he has always supported her in anything she wanted to do and always provides knowledgeable advice.
