AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2022-23)
An integral piece of the NCAA Division II National Championship Nova Southeastern team, Yoakum led the Sharks to the sixth undefeated national title season in NCAA DII history... set the single season scoring record at Nova Southeastern, totaling 727 points across 36 games... was named to the Second-Team All-Sunshine State Conference... earned Sunshine State Conference, South Region, and National Tournament MVP honors... one of two Sharks to start all 36 games (Dallas Graziani)... tied the program-record with nine three-pointers against Alabama-Huntsville to send NSU to the Elite Eight for the second consecutive season... recorded 30-points three times, all in the playoffs, - 31 vs. West Liberty (NCAA Championship), 33 vs. Alabama-Huntsville (South Region Championship), and 34 vs. Mo.-St. Louis (Elite Eight)... recorded two double-doubles on the season (1/14/23 vs. Saint Leo) and (1/21/23 vs. Lynn)... averaged 20.2 points on the season, while shooting 57.5% from the field and 52.5% from beyond the arc... earned Second-Team D2CCA All-American Honors... finished sixth in NCAA Division II in points and led the country in three-point percentage... Yoakum is a finalist for the 2023 Bevo Francis Award. 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Played four years at West Liberty University under the Hilltoppers... was named Freshman of the Year in 2018... two-time first-team All-Conference... was named the Mountain East Tournament MVP in 2020... was named to the MEC All-Tournament team in 2022.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played basketball for four years at Delaware Hayes High School... was a two-time Ohio Division I All-District and All-Ohio Capital Conference... named the Delaware County Player of the Year his senior season, averaging 19.4 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game.

PERSONAL
Son of Lee and Julie Yoakum... has two siblings, Ben and Katie... working towards a Master's in Business Management... most memorable athletic achievement was making the Elite 8 at West Liberty in 2020.
