Nova Southeastern University Athletics

Jessica Barberi (sic Pokryfke) joined the Sports Medicine staff at Nova Southeastern University in January 2025. She currently serves as an athletic trainer for the men's and women's track and cross country teams, the women's rowing team, and the women's lacrosse team.

Barberi is Sports Manual Therapy Certified, FMS-Level 1 certified, and Dry Needling Level 1 certified.

Prior to NSU, Barberi served as the Head Athletic Trainer for Inter Miami CF II in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Barberi graduated in 2019 from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science; she continued her education at NSU and went on to complete her Master's degree in Athletic Training in 2021.

Barberi is a South Florida native and now resides in Plantation. In December 2025, Jessica married NSU Athletic Operations & Event Manager, Tommy Barberi. Both are Nova Southeastern alums.
