Josie Earnhardt joins the Nova Southeastern women’s basketball staff in the spring of 2025 as an assistant coach after two seasons as an assistant coach at Barry University.
A standout shooter and versatile guard, Earnhardt enjoyed a decorated five-year collegiate playing career. She began at NCAA Division III Hiram College, averaging 8.5 points per game while connecting on 32.5% from three-point range. She then transferred to Spartanburg Methodist College (NJCAA), where she flourished under Coach Macy, averaging 15.3 points per game and knocking down 111 three-pointers in a single season.
Earnhardt completed her playing career at NCAA Division II powerhouse North Georgia, where she started 61 of 83 games. She was a key contributor for the Nighthawks, averaging 9.2 points per game and shooting an impressive 41.4% from beyond the arc. In 2021–22, she helped guide North Georgia to a historic run to the NCAA Division II Final Four.
Throughout her collegiate career, Earnhardt compiled a 97–34 team record, averaged 10.4 points per game, and made 371 career three-pointers at a 38.6% clip, solidifying her reputation as one of the most consistent perimeter threats at every level she played.
She holds a B.S. in Psychology (2022) and a B.S. in Criminal Justice (2023), both from the University of North Georgia.
