Nova Southeastern University Athletics

Samantha Vixama Joined NSU Athletics as the Human Resources and Business Administration Coordinator in August 2025. She initially joined Nova Southeastern University in November 2019 in the Speech Language Pathology Department as the Clinic Coordinator. She works very closely with Associate AD Danielle Daniel to ensure the timely processing of business reports and office duties. She serves as the main point of contact between the administration and HR.

Before NSU, Vixama spent 4 years at Barry University. She began the biomedical program at Barry University in 2015 as the director's administrative assistant. She facilitated all secretarial duties for the department. In 2016, at Barry University, she was promoted to Executive Assistant to the Academic Chair of the School of Podiatric Medicine. Vixama provided support in business administration, served as the liaison to faculty, academic support services, and was a member of the admission committee.

Vixama graduated from Medgar Evers College of New York with a bachelor’s in business administration. In 2020, she graduated from Barry University with her master’s in public administration. Vixama has been serving academia for a decade and looks forward to continuing.

Outside of work, Vixama is a proud family woman. She is married to Kenny and they have two children, Niyah(7) and Xavier(1).
