Taylin Washington (Jr., Royal Palm Beach, Fla.), of the No. 22 men's team, finished fifth in the 400m at the USF Invitational with a time of 48.86, the fastest 400 run in the Peach Belt so far this season. The junior finished behind three club runners and USF's Franklin Mosely and ahead of 45 other competitors, many from Division I schools. He also ran the opening leg of the 4x400 relay, helping the Sharks to a second-place finish in the 16-team field. The NSU squad covered the distance in 3:19.64, the second-fastest relay time in the league this season.
