Mitchel Buerosse earned SSC Pitcher of the Week after he pitched seven perfect innings for the No. 13 Sharks against Palm Beach Atlantic. In the final game of the series, which lasted two days due to inclement weather, Buerosse got the nod at the top of the second inning to resume the game on the second day. The senior pitched six perfect innings (18 up, 18 down) with nine strikeouts on just 61 pitches in a 15-0 win. Buerosse combined with Dillon Frye, who pitched a perfect first inning before the game was postponed, for a perfect game. Buerosse also pitched a three-up, three-down relief inning in game one in a 20-5 win for the Sharks.
