Andrea Giombetti shutout South Florida rival Barry in the team’s lone match of the week. The senior keeper made five saves and stood composed as the Bucs made a huge effort to push forward and score in the final 10 minutes. It was the Sharks’ first shutout since Sept. 7 and the Sharks’ first home shutout of the year. The win also gave the Sharks six points through four matches, which at the time put the Sharks in potential position to host a conference tournament match.
