Petra Jurova’s performance during her debut weekend as a Shark has earned her the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week award.  In team wins over No. 15 Valdosta State and No. 30 Flagler, both on the road, Jurova was an undefeated 4-0 in singles and doubles play. As the Sharks’ No. 2 singles player, she defeated Jennifer Rink of Valdosta (6-1, 6-3) and Flagler’s Esther Santiago (6-0, 6-2). As part of NSU’s top doubles combo, she and Sabrina Kierberg (Jr., Munich, Germany) also went unscathed, in an 8-1 victory over VSU and an 8-4 win against Flagler.
