In one of the most impressive athletic achievements in Nova Southeastern University history, Anton Lobanov (Fr., Novosibirisk, Russia) broke two all-time NCAA records in the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard breaststroke. His times of 52.00 and 1:53.49, respectively, both passed the NCAA A-Standard mark. Lobanov and the men's swimming and diving team finished second overall at the Sunshine State Conference Championships, while their fellow teammates on the women's side were crowned champions.
