Thiago Sickert was chosen as this week's Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week after winning every individual race he swam in this past weekend. Against Indian River, the junior swam three NCAA B-Standards times including the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly. His times were 20.61, 45.15 and 49.22, respectively. Against Rollins, Sickert swam a NCAA B-Standard of 1:49.75 in the 200-yard butterfly to secure victory. Sickert has the top time in NCAA Division II in the 50-free and 100-free. He ranks in the top five in DII in the 200-yard freestyle, 100-fly and 200-fly.
