Ford, NSU's starting outside hitter, led the Sharks to a 4-0 opening weekend, averaging 3.93 kills per set while tallying a team-high 55 total kills, finishing with a .244 hitting percentage. In addition, she recorded five service aces and picked up 21 digs. In a 3-2 win over Truman State, she notched 20 kills, completing the double-double with 12 digs.
