The Nova Southeastern University Varsity 8+ has picked up the first Sunshine State Conference Boat of the Week honor of the spring..
The NSU crew notched three first-place finishes at the Division II Duals. The Sharks rowed to a time of 7:28.2 to finish ahead of Jacksonville and a second NSU crew in its first race of the event. The crew then posted a school-record time of 7:03.4 to defeat Central Oklahoma by 21.8 seconds. The boat rounded out an impressive weekend by crossing the finish line with a time of 7:04.5 to defeat Philadelphia by 24.2 seconds.
