Abbey Gittings (So., Tamworth, England) earned Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week by maintaining steady golf over last week’s two-day Lady Otter Spring Invitational hosted by Cal-State Monterey Bay on March 28-29. She fired an even par 73 in both rounds to earn her first individual medalist honor this season with a total of 146. Gittings paced the Sharks to a 17-stroke victory last week at the Invitational in Seaside, Calif.
