Tim Traversa (Jr., Chicago, Ill.) earns NSUSharks.com Athlete of the Week for making his game-winning layup with a few seconds remaining on the clock to help NSU defeat the Barry Buccaneers, 65-64, Saturday in the team’s first Sunshine State Conference game of the year. Traversa took over the game late as the Sharks and Bucs traded baskets down the stretch. Traversa made the last three field goals for NSU, each one on a driving layup. He finished with 11 points and a game-high three assists.
