FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Junior Erin Black (Fort Myers, Fla.) and senior Jonas Grundstrom (Fagersta, Sweden) have been named Sunshine State Conference Women's and Men’s Swimmers of the Week, respectively, for the period ending January 22, as announced by the conference office Monday.
 
Black notched two individual victories and a relay win in the No. 11 Sharks’ 120-83 win over No. 12 Florida Southern. She took first place in the 200-yard freestyle with a NCAA B-cut time of 1:54.83. She also touched the wall first in the 500- free with a B-cut mark of 5:03.21. Black, additionally, swam the leadoff leg on the team that won the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:40.07.
 
Grundstrom collected two individual wins in the No. 13 Sharks’ 105-100 thriller over No. 11 Florida Southern. Grundstrom posted an NCAA B-cut time of 4:37.51 in winning the 500- free. He also achieved a B-cut en route to claiming the 1,650- free with a mark of 16:08.31.
