GREENWOOD, Ind. – Eight Nova Southeastern swimmers from the men's and women's swimming teams have been honored by the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have competed in either five competitions for the university during the 2025-26 academic year or finish top eight at the conference meet or better.
From the men's side Paul Huvet-Pansard, Michael Kent, Roland Nagy and Gustav Henriksen were the Sharks honored. All four are now in consideration for the prestigious CSC Academic All-America teams which will be announced on April 28 and 29.
The women, fresh off a fourth straight team national championships, also earn four All-District honors with Kristina Orban, Hailey Williams, Emilia Ronningdal and Zsofia Kurdi all being named to the All-District team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Orban, Ronningdal and Williams all earned the ability to be voted on by the nation's Sports Information Directors to be named to the CSC Academic All-American team.
The last Shark on either team to earn Academic All-America honors was Emily Trieschmann in 2024 when she earned First Team honors with a 3.84 GPA while majoring in Property Management & Real Estate.
The NSU women's team features 12 NCAA All-Americans while the men's team features one. Both teams were permitted to nominate four swimmers, with all four that were chosen to be nominated receiving the distinction.
