RESULTS
DES MOINES, Iowa - The Nova Southeastern men's and women's track and field teams completed their final day of competition at the prestigous Drake Relays. Both women's relays had advanced to today's finals.
The 4x100-meter relay team of
Jessica Osteen (Sr., Las Vegas, Nev.),
Johniqua Stafford (Sr., Fort Worth, Texas),
Nicole Poole (Fr., Altamonte Springs, Fla.) and
Ciona Williams (Fr., Stockton, Ca.) finished fifth with a season-best time of 47.17. The relay time improved from their seed time in the preliminaries.
The women's 4x400-meter relay continued their success, as the team of Osteen,
Monica Sapp (Fr., Miami, Fla.), Williams and
Quannisha Allen (Fr., St. Augustine, Fla.) improved upon their placement in the preliminaries and moved into seventh place with a season-best time of 3:48.74.
The track and field team will be back in action on April 29, as they head to the Multi-Cultural Invitational. Check back at
