NEW ORLEANS - The Nova Southeastern tennis team completed its first tournament of the fall season Sunday, wrapping up play at the University of New Orleans' Big Easy Invitational.
Due to inclement weather on Friday evening and throughout the day Saturday, many NSU matches were cancelled. That includes all matches in the consolation draw. The Sharks were able to fit in one last match after seven wins on Friday.
Alexandra Johansson (Jr., Sydney, Australia) and
Charlotte Cote (So., Montreal, Canada) took on NCAA Division I Louisiana-Monroe's Petra Horakova and Sophie Rufyikiri. The Sharks were a hard out but ultimately fell in their second round match, 8-4.
