Page Named Second Team All-SSC

Page led the Sharks with 14.8 points per game.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. Nova Southeastern guard Chris Page (So., Plainfield, Ind.) was named to the 2014 All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team and Newcomer Team, as announced by the conference office Friday.
 
Page had an outstanding sophomore campaign in which he led the Sharks in scoring at 14.8 points per game on 48 percent shooting. Page was most effective when driving to the basket, draining 57 percent of his shots inside the arc. He also averaged four rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
 
Page had his top game of the year at home against Palm Beach Atlantic, in which the Sharks won 97-88. The transfer from Albany scored a career-high 28 points. Page shot 11-for-16, secured six rebounds and recorded six assists. He also made the game-winning bucket with three seconds left at home against Lynn, lifting the Sharks to an 81-79 win.
 
Page and the Sharks will take on Eckerd in the second round of the 2014 Sunshine State Conference Tournament Friday, March 7 at 5 p.m.
