FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – With both the men's and women's teams ranked in the top 10 in NCAA Division II, NSU is set to make another statement against nationally ranked Grand Valley State University on Saturday, Jan. 3 at the NSU Aquatic Center at 2 p.m.
The Sharks women currently rank seventh in NCAA DII, while the men rank ninth. Both teams are coming off of outstanding performances at the Shark Invitational. The women set nine new team records, nine Shark Invitational records and three Sunshine State Conference records during the four-day meet. The men set seven new team records, four Shark Invitational records and three Sunshine State Conference records. Both teams combined to finish the meet with 128 updates to the NSU top-10 list.
GVSU's men's and women's teams are coming off of wins at the Calvin College Invite that took place Dec. 4-6. Their men's team ranks fifth in NCAA DII and the women's team ranks fourteenth.
