NORMAN, Okla. – Two Nova Southeastern University men's golfers were designated on Monday as members of the 2016 Division II PING All-South Region team, in an announcement by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Junior
Richard Mansell (Staffordshire, England) and freshman
Juan Jose Guerra (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) earned this honor. A total of 112 golfers nationwide made the list, the largest number coming from the toughest region in DII, the South, with 25 representatives.
The duo was the team's two top players this past season, averaging 72.73 (Mansell) and 73.73 (Guerra) strokes per round. They combined for nine of the team's 16 finishes within a tournament's top 10, and Mansell is currently No. 14 in DII while Guerra is No. 30.
