Stunts can be performed coed or group stunt and should be performed with high school or college-aged students. Those that do not have one or any of those skill sets are welcome to submit a video to be considered for the NSU sideline team.
The NSU cheerleaders are the public relations ambassadors for the university and its athletic programs. The program thrives on increasing school spirit and fan attraction at games. The cheerleaders participate in a variety of community service activities, including but not limited to: the Special Olympics, Community Fest, pep rallies, local sponsor events and campus-wide events.
Practices and strength training are three times a week and will be determined on the basis of class schedules. Practices, strength training, and appearances are mandatory for all team members.
