HOW IT HAPPENED:
1
st Half | The Sharks brought the energy early, tallying the game's first seven points, before their lead grew to as many as a dozen at the 11:39 mark following a technical foul by Barry's Kooper Glick. However, the Buccaneers would reel off 14 of the next 16 points, including nine from All-American point guard Elvar Fridriksson, to quickly even the contest back up at 26. Both sides would trade leads eight times the rest of the way, with a late three by
Gerard Tarin closing the gap to 46-43
2
nd Half | Barry opened up a double-digit cushion with seven straight points to begin the second half. Nova Southeastern would hang tough, though, climbing back to within a pair after a Dennis lay-in.
Nick Smith buried a difficult jumper with 7:11 to go to cut the deficit to single digits. However, seven straight missed field goals by the Sharks led to a scoring drought of 3:14 as Barry countered with four three's during the same span en route to the eventual victory.
