FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern men and women's swim teams completed their regular season in dictating fashion on Saturday morning, picking up wins on both sides over the visiting Keiser Seahawks while also celebrating Senior Day. With the wins, the No. 12 men's team heads into postseason with an overall record of 6-2 (2-1 SSC), while the No. 3 women hold an 8-3 record overall, and a perfect 4-0 in conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Sharks picked up back-to-back wins in the 200 yard medley to kick off the dual, as the women took first in 1:44.70 and the men in 1:32.10. The women were just .5 seconds away from hitting the qualifying mark.
- To close out the meet, both sides earned victories in the 400 freestyle relay, the women in 3:34.79 and the men in 3:08.03.
- NSU grabbed three NCAA B-Cut times and 26 first-place finishes on Saturday morning.
TOP PERFORMERS:
- Emma Sundstedt earned the first individual victory of the day in the 1,000 freestyle, finishing in a NCAA B-Cut time of 10:00.49. The freshman also went on to win the 200 individual medley in 2:09.31. Her time in the 1,000 is currently the second-fastest time recorded in Div. II this season, behind her own NCAA record-setting time of 9:46.63.
- On the men's side, Franco Lupoli also grabbed a B-Cut time win in 9:25.78. He also took the win in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:38.93.
- In the 200 free, Madison Yelle took first place in 1:57.35 while Alec Dawson finished the event sweep with a winning time of 1:43.35.
- In the 100 backstroke, Jenna Johns claimed her first victory of the day with a time of 57.66, with her second win coming from the 100 freestyle, where she finished in 52.66.
- Malin Westman took the win in the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.0 before later going on to win the 200 breaststroke in 2:20.79.
- Courtney DeVeny earned a pair of wins on Saturday, in the 200 butterfly and the 200 backstroke, with time of 2:06.98 and 2:07.64, respectively.
- Thomas Rutherford had a day, earning three first-place finishes. The first came 200 fly, as Rutherford finished with a time of 1:53.91, before going on to take the 200 breaststroke in 2:07.83. His final win of the day came in the 200 individual medley, where he took the event in 1:55.94.
- Both sides for NSU claimed wins in the 50 freestyle, as Sydney Panzarino won for the women in 23.53 and Malique Elder in 20.92. Panzarino's time was good enough for yet another NCAA B-Cut time for the Sharks.
- In the 100 freestyle, Magnus Poulsen took first with a time of 46.64, later on winning the 100 butterfly, as well, in 50.00.
- Jake Gauvain earned the victory in the 200 backstroke in 1:57.28, while Tyler Fell took first in the 500 free in 5:11.76.
- Caroline Oster also added to the list of first-place finishes for NSU with her winning time of 57.90 in the 100 butterfly.

The Sharks will continue to prepare for postseason until Feb. 22 when they will head to Clearwater, Fla. to compete in the Sunshine State Conference Championships.
