Dana Edmundson sent a two-run homer over the fence for the eventual winning score.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
TOP 1ST:
Dana Edmundson led the inning off with a walk before stealing second. Two batters later,
Keeley Mayers singled to left field to score Edmundson for a 1-0 Shark lead.
TOP 5TH: After three scoreless innings for either team,
Dana Edmundson sent a two-run homer over the fence that brought home
Sydney Lageyre, who reached on a fielder's choice, pushing NSU's lead to 3-0.
INSIDE THE STATS:
- The Sharks tallied four hits on the night, coming from Edmundson, Kailynn Blackwood, Mayers and Daniela Bautista.
- Edmundson tallied two RBI and Mayers had one.
- Lexie Storrer increased her record to 5-7, seeing the distance in the circle and allowing just one hit and no runs. She also tallied two strikeouts.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Edmundson's homerun was her first of the season.
- Storrer's one hit allowed didn't come until the bottom of the seventh.
- This was ERAU's first conference loss.

The Sharks and the Eagles will complete the series tomorrow with a doubleheader slated to being at 12:00 noon.
