FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – An early four-run deficit became an afterthought by Sunday's end as No. 14 Nova Southeastern leaned on a strong 6.2-inning relief outing from freshman
Jarret Krzyzanowski and three home runs, including an
Andrew Liberty grand slam in the fourth, to roll past Lynn by a final score of 16-6 at the NSU Baseball Complex. The victory extends the Sharks' current win streak to 12, giving head coach
Greg Brown's club four straight Sunshine State Conference series sweeps.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Lynn forced Nova Southeastern starter
Derik Beauprez from the ball game following just 1.1 innings of work, yet Krzyzanowski was able to limit the damage enough before handing the keys over to the offense trailing by a manageable 4-0 margin.
Facing the uphill battle apparently didn't faze the Sharks much as they one-upped the Fighting Knights with a five spot in the home half of the second to grab their first lead of the afternoon. A one-out walk by
Dominic Diana sparked the rally before three consecutive singles by
Samuel Duran,
Bryan Diaz and
Jeffrey Cyr trimmed the deficit in half.
Dylan Harris would continue the contagious hitting with an RBI-double down the third-base line to close the gap to 4-3, and soon put Nova Southeastern in front, following a
Nick Gallo RBI-groundout by advancing home on a wild pitch.
The advantage grew to 6-4 just an inning later thanks to career home run No. 40 by Anchia. The offense didn't slow much from there, either. A one-out walk by Gallo loaded up the bases in the fourth for Liberty, who lifted the 1-2 offering from Lynn reliever Anthony Franco over the wall for a grand slam to push the Sharks to double-digit runs for the fifth time in six games.
With the six-run cushion intact, Krzyzanowski continued to let his defense work behind him, throwing up six straight zeroes spanning from the third to the eighth inning. The offense would tack on another five runs in the eighth as well, using a pinch-hit, RBI-double by
Andrew Labosky and a pinch-hit, three-run blast by
Christian Demby, to ensure win No. 3 for the young freshman,
