HOW IT HAPPENED:

ST QUARTER | The first six minutes of the first quarter were neck-and-neck, seeing three ties and two lead changes. Down 7-6 at the 4:46 mark, a layup by Jordan Tully put the advantage back on NSU's side for good, while also igniting a 13-4 run by the Sharks to end the first frame with NSU leading 21-21.

ND QUARTER | A jumper by PBA's Victoria Self brought the deficit down to below 10 points for the final time of the game at the 8:45 mark before a layup by Maria Bardeeva, assisted by Prasse pushed Nova Southeastern back out in front by 11, 26-15. The Sharks continued to put the pressure on the home team throughout the quarter, going up by as many as 17 points with a three-pointer by Prasse with 44 seconds left until the break. The Sailfish were able to sneak in a layup in the final 12 seconds, keeping NSU out in front 43-28 at halftime.

RD QUARTER | In their strongest quarter of the night, the Sharks went on to outscore PBA 33-25, their second-straight 30+ point third quarter outing. Back-to-back three pointers by Claire McMahon and Alison Hughes opened up the scoring for either team, both coming in the first 41 seconds of the frame. A little over three minutes later, Hughes drained another trey for the Sharks' largest lead of the game thus far, 59-35. The two teams exchanged baskets for the majority of the remainder of the quarter before NSU pushed its lead back out to 20+ points with a Mikayla Thompson layup with 10 seconds on the scoreboard.

TH QUARTER | A layup by Bardeeva at the 9:40 mark pushed the Sharks out to its first of two 25 point leads in the fourth. A three-pointer by Self allowed Palm Beach Atlantic to cut the Sharks' lead back to below 20 for the last time, as a three by Sarah Kelly pushed them over the mark and kept them there. The Sharks were able to score the last points of the game as a layup by Cheray Saunders at the 36 second mark gave NSU its winning score of 95-70.
