FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern men's soccer team lost to the No. 11 nationally-ranked Florida Tech Panthers, 3-0, in Sunshine State Conference action on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Both teams were somewhat passive to begin the game, as the only shot for the first 20 minutes was a blocked attempt off the foot of Jan Luca Ahillen. A flurry of shots followed, however, culminating in the Panthers first goal of the match off a corner kick in the 25th minute.
- Each team mustered three more attempts before halftime, with both goalkeepers stopping two of them.
- The Panthers needed less than three minutes out of the break before adding to their lead, placing a perfect free kick around the Sharks defenders and into the right corner of the net.
- The Sharks registered three shots between the 56th and 58th minutes, but missed wide twice and were blocked once.
- In the 68th minute, the Panthers put their third and final goal into the back of the net, recovering the deflection of a blocked shot.
STATS OF THE NIGHT:
- The Sharks outshot the Panthers 13-10, but just two of those 13 were on target, including none of the eight attempted after halftime. The Panthers, meanwhile, were 6-for-10 in their shots on goal.
- Ahillen led the team with three shots, while only Henrik Berg and Michael Lawrence also tallied multiple attempts. H. Berg and Matty Cornish collected the team's two shots on goal.
