HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Flagler set the tone on Monday, jumping out to the early 36-hole lead at 10-over par. Belmont Abbey sits four strokes behind in second, while West Florida finished the afternoon in third at 15-over par. Rollins has a hold of fourth, just four shots ahead of the Sharks.
- Hay appeared rather comfortable in his collegiate debut, following up his opening-round of (+3) 75 with an afternoon effort of (+1) 73 to position himself tied for 12th on the leaderboard.
- Fellow freshman Jamie Markwick fired a 73 of his own, yet struggled to duplicate the same type of performance in round two, as a second-round 78 dropped him into a tie for 24th.
- Jonny Cachon shrugged off his slow start, overcoming a round of 79 in the morning by carding a strong round of (+1) 73 late in the day. The sophomore currently owns a share of 27th at eight-over par.
- Benjamin Hjort trails Cachon by one stroke following rounds of 75 and 78. Daniel Celestino, meanwhile, will head into Tuesday tied for 39th at 11-over par.
- One of just three players in red numbers, West Florida's Carlos Marrero currently leads the field by two strokes at three-under par.
