HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Sharks entered the morning tied atop the leaderboard at 14-over par. Despite another quality round, host Lynn proved to be a step above, as the Fighting Knights fired a tournament-low round of (-9) 279 to run away with an 11-shot victory.
• Lynn (+6) and NSU (+17) earned the top two spots on the leaderboard, while Barry (+18), Seminole State (+33) and West Texas A&M (+46) rounded out the Top-5.
• Marques started slow on Tuesday, bogeying two of her opening three holes. The freshman would settle in, though, by shooting a bogey-free, five-under par the rest of the way, sinking birdies on both No. 17 and No. 18. Marques' 54-hole total of (+2) 218 landed her in a tie for fourth.
• Also claiming a tie for fourth was Andersson, who recorded just one bogey on the day to go along with two of birdies and 15 pars. The Swede sandwiched a pair of 71s around a 76 for her 54-hole score of two-over par.
• Hanna Ahlander registered her best round of the week on Tuesday by shooting a (+1) 73 to pick up a share of 13^th at nine-over par overall.
• Nicola Fall matched Ahlander with a tie for 13^th, while Sofia Garcia Austt placed tied for 22^nd.

STATS OF THE DAY:

• Ahlander and Fall each recorded the best Par-3 scoring average for the tournament at 2.83.
• Andersson tied for the top Par-5 scoring average in the field with a mark of 4.75.
• Scoring conditions were the easiest of the tournament on Tuesday, as the field's average score was 75.35 in the final round.

BEYOND THE SCORECARD:

• Lynn's Alice Gatti earned individual medalist honors, finishing as the field's only player in red numbers at two under.
• The fourth-place ties marked the best career finishes for both Andersson and Marques.
