FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nova Southeastern Volleyball continued the program's record-setting pace to the 2021 season completing a thrilling, five-set victory over the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish in Sunshine State Conference play on Friday evening from the Rick Case Arena. The Sharks have won 15 consecutive matches dating back to 2019, which is the longest winning streak in the Division II-era of NSU Volleyball.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first set of the match set the tone for the remainder of the evening as the two teams battled back-and-forth.
- Palm Beach Atlantic took a 14-10 lead over the Sharks, following a 5-2 run for PBA.
- Trailing 19-14, NSU rallied for 6-of-8 points tying the set at 20-20. Elizabeth Price tied the set with back-to-back kills.
- PBA took the first set 24-26 over Nova Southeastern, snapping the Sharks 22-set winning streak – which was a program record.
- Palm Beach Atlantic began the second-set with a 4-0 run, when the Sharks responded with three consecutive points of their own.
- An 8-0 run by the Sailfish gave PBA a 14-6 lead, which led to Palm Beach Atlantic taking the second set 25-17.
- Price continued to will the Sharks, recording four straight points for NSU as Nova Southeastern took a 6-4 advantage.
- Cambry Pope sparked a 7-0 run by NSU, tallying four aces during the run for the Sharks as Nova Southeastern took an 18-8.
- NSU recorded their first set win of the evening following a PBA service error.
- Price and Brittany Landrum each added two kills to give the Sharks an 8-6 lead in the early stages of the fourth-set.
- Tied at 11-11, Nova Southeastern won 8-of-9 points to take commanding 19-12 fourth-set lead.
- NSU tied the match with a 25-17 fourth-set victory.
- The Sharks took complete control of the decisive fifth set, taking a 7-1 lead over PBA, as Marianna Fiocco, Price, Julia Bernardes, and Landrum all added kills in the run.
- Landrum and the Sharks completed the dramatic five-set comeback, as the middle-blocker recorded the game-winning point.

- Elizabeth Price led the match with 18-kills, the second highest single-game total of her career.
- The Sharks hit –0.074 in the second-set, and responded with a 0.557 percentage point jump in the third.
