HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Sharks began the final round just two shots off the pace, yet were unable to gain ground on Lynn, as the nation's top team shot a tournament, final-round record of (-3) 285 to win the event by eight strokes.
- Anderson (S.C.) (+13) flip-flopped with NSU to claim second as a team, while Limestone collected fourth at 24-over par. Florida Southern and Barry each tied for fifth at 26-over.
- NSU's Andersson put herself in contention down the stretch of the tournament, yet finished bogey-bogey to slide ever-so-slightly into a four-way tie for second. Andersson finished the week with scores of 73-69-74.
- An up-and-down afternoon guided Sofia Garcia Austt into an eventual tie for 14th at five-over par for the tournament.
- Ellen Ramstedt produced a final round of (+5) 77 to move into a tie for 27th at eight-over par overall.
- Hanna Ahlander tallied her low round of the week, shooting a (+2) 74 on Tuesday to climb into a 37th-place finish, with Jimena Marques recording her third straight (+4) 76 to take 38th.
- Outside of the NSU lineup, freshman Haruka Muta collected sole possession of 48th at 14-over par.
STATS OF THE DAY:
- Garcia Austt's 10 combined birdies were the most of any NSU player this week.
- The per-round scoring average finished at 77.53 for the tournament.
BEYOND THE SCORECARD:
- Andersson is currently playing the best golf of her career. Two weeks from removed from a tie for third at the World Golf Invitational, the sophomore's tie for second this week marked a new career-best finish.
- Saint Leo's Francesca Santoni earned individual medalist honors with a 54-hole score of (-3) 213.
- Kerington Lamb of Anderson (S.C.) fired a round of (-6) 66 on Tuesday, matching the tournament record for low individual round previously set in 2020 by Tampa's Kiira Riihijarvi.
