BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men's Golf team finished its season-opening tournament at the Griffin Invitational on Tuesday evening. The Sharks finished third (-4) in the 13 team field, second among Sunshine State Conference teams. Michael Hay ended the tournament in a tie for second place, recording a score of -6.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hay had an excellent day, recording a par on each of the first ten holes before birdieing both the 11th and 12th hole. Hay ended the tournament going one-stroke under-par.
- Josep Serra finished in sole possession of sixth place (-4), and started the day with three birdies on the front nine. Serra added three birdies on the back nine, but a bogey on seven and a double-bogey on 16 ended his round at -3.
- Will O'Neill, the third Shark to finish in the top-10, put three birdies on the ledger in his front nine, but bogeyed three, six, 12, and 15 to finish the round at even par.
- George Mills ended the day four-strokes over-par, following a par performance yesterday, but was able to finish within the top-25.
- Emanuel Olofsson recorded two birdies on the back nine, responding from a two bogey front nine, and ended his tournament at +5
