TAMPA, Fla. - After falling behind in the early moments of the match and playing down a man, Nova Southeastern men's soccer forced a draw and tied the Tampa Spartans 1-1 on Saturday evening from Pepin Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

	The Spartans opened the game with a quick strike to take a 1-0 lead over the Sharks in the early minutes of the contest.   
- 
	NSU went on the offensive, following the Tampa goal, taking three shots in the first 17 minutes of the first half.   
- 
	Nova Southeastern trailed for the rest of the opening half, heading into the break, down 1-0.  
- 
	The Sharks had to play down a man for the remainder of the match starting in the 61st minute.   
- 
	The adversity didn't concern the Sharks, as Milos Christoforou netted the equalizer in the 75th minute, tying the match at 1-1.   
- 
	Theo Oherwall took his shot at a potential game-winning goal in the 78th minute, but it was saved by the Spartans keeper.   
- 
	Eduardo D'Avino turned away two Tampa shot attempts in the last two minutes of the match, preserving a draw for the Sharks and Spartans in Sunshine State Conference action.
