FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern women's basketball team won its fourth straight game as it defeated Rollins 77-62 on Wednesday evening. The Sharks were led by a 17-point performance from Sarei McGill and 12 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds from Madison Frederick. With the victory over Rollins, NSU has now won its last four Sunshine State Conference matchups.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter – Maddie Frederick's 7 early points helped the Sharks get out to a 9-6 lead in the first five minutes. Sarei McGill knocked in a pair of free throws and a layup to give NSU a 13-8 advantage. As the Tars went on a 6-0 run, the Sharks went on a 3-minute slump before Hailey Conley made a three-pointer to bring the score to 16-14 at the end of the first.
Second Quarter – Kyannah Grant got the scoring started in the second quarter followed by a layup from Alexus Bryant that gave NSU a 20-17 lead with just over 8 minutes remaining in the half. McGill took over again, scoring four more points in under a minute of game time. Kyarrah Grant, Frederick and Zeyno Seren all scored in a 5-0 run that put NSU up 31-26. Seren and Kyarrah Grant both made layups in the last minute to give the Sharks a 35-29 lead at halftime.
Third Quarter – Bryant started the second half strong, scoring on back-to-back possessions to open the third quarter. The Sharks gained momentum and went on a 7-2 run, with Kyannah Grant (2), Fredrick (2) and India Shepherd (3) all contributing to the Sharks' 46-31 lead. McGill stayed hot, scoring 5 consecutive points in less than a minute of game time. A 10-0 run, led by Conley, in the last three minutes gave NSU a 63-40 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Fourth Quarter – Conley and Kyannah Grant helped the Sharks extend the lead to 67-50 with just over 6 minutes remaining. Kyarrah Grant (4), McGill (4) and Skyla Osceola (2) all contributed points over the last four minutes and helped the Sharks close out a 77-62 win.
