FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Women's Soccer team hosted their 2023 Senior Day on Wednesday evening, hosting Eckerd at the NSU Soccer Stadium. NSU Athletics honored eleven seniors, Emery Biggs, Christina Hjelvik, Dani Correa, Emma Brown, Majo Contreras, Jordyn Pitter, Maja Henriksson, Luana Grabias, Jordan Scandizzo, Luana Grabias, and Izzy Martinez.

Tabea Schütt, Luana Grabias, Saga Bjorling, and Sofia Suarez all fired shots-on-goal, but all were saved by the Tritons' goalkeeper.

After being awarded a penalty kick in the 20th minute, the Tritons got another one in, taking a 2-0 lead over the Sharks.

Another penalty kick was awarded and converted by the Tritons in the 39th minute, giving them a 3-0 lead going into the half.

In the 63rd minute, the Tritons scored, making it 4-0.

Ella Niemelä, Emma Brown, Dani Correa, and Haley Mettrick put shots-on-goal, but their chances were knocked away.
