DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Men's Soccer team took down Embry-Riddle 3-1 in Saturday night's SSC matchup. The Sharks were led by a two-goal performance from Marco Gueli.

In the 20th minute, Tobias Pellio knocked in the first goal for the Sharks to take the early 1-0 lead.

Gueli joined the action three minutes later in the 23rd minute, with a goal of his own, extending the Sharks lead to 2-0.

The Eagles tacked on a goal just before the half ended to cut into NSU's lead.

Gueli earned his second goal of the match in the 66th minute, giving the Sharks a 3-1 lead.
NSU would ultimately hang on and secure the SSC victory over Embry-Riddle.

Head Coach Matt Watts – The boys showed incredible character tonight against more adversity. They stuck together, created chances and took their goals well. It's been a tough few weeks and some hard road trips. The boys came through as a TEAM. We have to take this momentum forward into a home stretch of games now.

Nova Southeastern is back in action on Wednesday, October 18th at 7:00 PM at home against Rollins College.
