CHAMPIONSGATE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Men's Golf team concluded its fall season on Tuesday afternoon with a win in the Citrus Intercollegiate from the Championsgate Golf Club. Nova Southeastern (-7) defeated Sunshine State Conference rival Barry (-6) by one stroke to win the event, while Michael Hay (-6) ended the tournament in a tie for second-place.

Michael Hay maintained his solid performance from the first two rounds of the tournament, beginning the final round with three birdies and five pars in the first eight holes. Hay ended the round with five consecutive pars, finishing the day in a tie for second place at six-under.
Joseba Torres also enjoyed a strong performance in the final round. He notched pars on each of his first six holes, before adding a birdie on the eighth. Torres bogeyed each end of the turn, but responded with six consecutive pars. Torres ended his tournament at one-under and in a tie for tenth place.
Ivan Ponsdomenech, Will McGhie and
Jorge Berea each ended the tournament at two-over and in a tie for 16
th place. Ponsdomenech recorded four birdies in the final round, while McGhie parred 15-of-18 holes and Berea tallied three birdies.
George Mills tallied three birdies and an eagle on Tuesday, ending his tournament at nine-over.
