- Nova Southeastern began the match with a 2-0 lead over Eckerd, following a kill from Taylor Stockman.
- Later in the set, Eckerd took an 11-6 lead over the Sharks.
- Nova Southeastern rallied to cut the Tritons lead to 17-15, following a 3-0 run, which was capped off by a service ace from Stockman.
- NSU dropped the opening set 25-15 to the Tritons.
- Eckerd opened the second set with an 8-3 lead over NSU.
- Nadia Lindner finished off a 3-0 rally by the Sharks, putting the score at 11-10 in the second frame.
- The Sharks were unable to overtake the Tritons, dropping the second set 25-17.
- Nova Southeastern took advantage of back-to-back errors from Eckerd and led 4-3 early in the third set.
