SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Volleyball team got back into the win column with a three-set sweep of the Saint Leo Lions in Sunshine State Conference action on Saturday afternoon. NSU was led by 15 kills from Nadia Lindner and 35 assists from Madison Cook.

- Early in the first set, Kate Mihacevich sparked a 4-0 run for the Sharks and put NSU in front 7-5.
- Maddy Hooper recorded back-to-back kills and extended the NSU advantage to 15-10 over the Lions.
- Nadia Lindner and Madison Cook bookended a 3-0 late in the opening frame for Nova Southeastern, putting the score at 23-18.
- Lindner closed out the first set with a kill, as the Sharks won the frame 25-22 over SLU.
- Taylor Stockman, Mihacevich, and Hooper all tallied points in the beginning of the second set, giving the Sharks an early 4-1 advantage.
- Lindner added two more points to her ledger, extending the Sharks lead to 9-4 over the Lions.
- Later in the second set, Nova Southeastern extended its lead to 21-11 over Saint Leo, following a 6-2 run. The rally featured a pair of kills from Lindner, two blocks – Lindner/Aniol and Stockman/Hooper - and a kill from Mihacevich.
- Mihacevich put NSU ahead 2-0 in the match with a kill, sealing the 25-14 second set victory for the Sharks.
- NSU opened the third set on a 5-2 run, as Stockman led the rally with a pair of kills and a combined block with Aniol.
- With the Sharks leading 13-9, Saint Leo rallied to tie the set at 13-13, but Mihacevich halted the Lions momentum with a kill.
- In the late stages of the set, and with the Sharks trailing 19-17, NSU capitalized on a pair of errors by the Lions and closed a 4-0 run with a Lindner service ace, taking a 21-19 lead.
- Lindner finished off the three-set sweep with her 15th kill of the match, as the Sharks claimed the final frame 25-23 over the Lions.
