SAINT LEO, Fla. - The third-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women's Tennis team earned a highly contested Sunshine State Conference victory over the second-ranked Saint Leo Lions on Saturday afternoon. NSU defeated SLU 5-2, adding another ranked win to their season ledger.

HOW IT HAPPENED – Doubles  

• Natalie Espinal and Fatima Bizhukova, the top-ranked doubles duo, took on Marta Miquel and Lavinia Lancellott, the No. 2 tandem in NCAA DII, and opened the match with a 6-2 victory for the Sharks. 

• Dianne Follin-Arbelet and Eva Goncharov sealed doubles point for NSU, winning their contests [7-5] 

• Julie Razafindranaly and Karolina Snita were victorious in their doubles match, winning [6-2] over Roca and Bellegy 

HOW IT HAPPENED – Singles 

• Natalie Espinal earned a [6-2, 6-1] victory in her match against Roca 

• Karolina Snita won in three-sets [6-1, 4-6, 10-6] against Obermeier 

• Fatima Bizhukova added a [6-4, 6-2] win against Lancelloti 

• Diane Follin-Arbelet clinched the victory for the third-ranked Sharks, defeating Shailina [6-3, 6-3]
