BOCA RATON, Fla. - The finale of the three-game series between the Nova Southeastern Sharks Baseball team and the Lynn Fighting Knights was a pitcher's duel, as both teams were held out of the hit column until the sixth inning. NSU dropped the third game of the series, 2-1.

Pitching set the tone for both the Sharks and the Fighting Knights in the first half of the contest, as both starting pitchers Frank Elissalt and Lynn's Dwyer held their opposing lineups out of the hit column through four innings.
Bottom of the Sixth – After recording the first hit of the game in the fifth inning, Lynn recorded back-to-back doubles with two outs and took a 1-0 lead.
Top of the Eighth – The Sharks got onto the hit column with a lead-off single by Kristian Noriega. Later in the inning, Ihosvany Castaneda recorded an RBI single, bringing in Noriega as the tying run.
Bottom of the Eighth – The Sharks recorded the first two outs in the inning before Lynn hit a solo home run and reclaimed the lead.

The Sharks return to the NSU Baseball Complex to host the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, April 25. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
